Chilled Water
Compass Building Services are aligned with industry leading manufacturers so we are able to provide the most up to date advice regarding chilled water systems.
We will compile a complete design for your review, prior to installing the selected system. The benefit of chilled water is that it contains a minimal amount of refrigerant in the outdoor units with standard water in all internal pipework. This gives the system the ability to regulate temperature levels within the space, a feature often used in the manufacturing sector.
All of our engineers are highly skilled, ensuring we provide a service which exceeds your expectations.

To undertake any work on a gas fired heating system the operative will be required to hold a valid Gas Safe qualification and OFTEC for an LPG or Oil system.
Essentially, a plantroom is a space or room dedicated for mechanical and electrical equipment such as boiler, pumps, hot water cylinder, main electrical distribution boards etc.
A primary circuit will circulate the heating water around the heat source such as a boiler and around a heat exchanger and the secondary circuit circulates the water sound the emitters back to the heat exchanger therefore keeping the water within your building separate from the water circuiting around your boiler for example.
This is common when installing a new plantroom / boiler into old building where the water quality within the old pipework might not be the best due to the age of the pipework. The eliminates circulating the old water through the new boiler plant thus aiding to increase the life expectance of the boiler.
HVAC is an acronym for Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning.
